A small matcha pop-up for your workshop or event. I arrive, whisk and serve fresh iced matcha lattes to your guests, then leave you to enjoy the rest of your day. You don’t need to organise anything.

the details

  • Small groups of 5 to 20 guests
  • Cascais, Estoril and Sintra areas
  • A short menu on purpose: matcha, oat milk and one syrup
  • Every cup is whisked to order

why matcha

Matcha comes from the Japanese tea ceremony, where making and sharing a bowl of tea is a practice in humility and presence. In the tearoom, rank stayed outside. Samurai left their swords at the door, and everyone sat as equals over the same bowl.

I love that idea, and it’s what I would love bring to your event. When people share a slow cup, titles and agendas soften and real conversation starts. There’s a Japanese phrase for it, ichigo ichie (一期一会): this moment, with these people, will never happen quite like this again.

good to know

Whisking takes time, and that’s part of the point. Matcha works best when guests are mingling: at a break, when people arrive and settle in, or while they connect and chat. It’s a chance to slow down together, not a queue to get through.

why I do this

I’ve been drinking matcha for years, and it’s been hard to find a really good cup locally. So I make my own, and I love sharing it with friends and family. So I’d love to share it with a wider community. This isn’t a big business, and I’m not trying to follow a trend. I’m one person with a whisk, bringing something I care about to your table.
